Mr. Heenan has spent 36 years working in the real estate industry. As a private investor, Mr. Heenan has put together investment groups to develop, reposition and convert several commercial properties into mixed-use properties, all in the Washington D.C. market. He has been a principal in various real estate developments such as office, industrial, condominium and apartments, which totals approximately $35 million. In addition, he has successfully represented several international investors to find U.S. capital for investing in various U.S. real estate markets. Mr. Heenan has extensive experience in forming joint ventures, creating participating debt structures, and financing the development of mixed-use public/private properties. As a mortgage broker, Mr. Heenan has placed over $1 billion in conventional mortgages, equity and construction loans. He has also financed over a dozen GSA projects with $90 million in debt. Mr. Heenan has provided non-recourse debt to many major U.S. associations including the American Association of Blood Banks, Airline Pilots Association, American Association of Railroads and Future Homemakers of America.

John Norris, Acquisitions & Property Management
Mr. Norris has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1979.  He began his career at Pacific Southwest Realty Services of San Diego, CA, where he became Senior Vice President of Real Estate Management during his 17 year tenure. Mr. Norris has personally negotiated several hundred thousand square feet of commercial space with national, regional, and many independent tenants in California and Arizona. Mr. Norris’ management responsibilities included all aspects of planning, redevelopment, renovation and repositioning of commercial properties, leasing and marketing, tenant improvements, collections, financial reporting and coordination of the development team. For the past 12 years Mr. Norris has managed the assets of several real estate companies for projects completed on behalf of the General Services Administration. Mr. Norris has held the following profession designations: Certified Property Manager, CPM, Accredited Residential Manager, ARM, and Senior Certified Shopping Center Manager, SCSM. He is currently a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California and Nevada.

Matt Norris, Operations & Finance
Mr. Norris has been involved in the bidding, development and management of government-leased properties since 2006. Prior to his GSA work, he was a member of the Executive Finance Development Program at Thermo Fisher Scientific where he was responsible for developing strategies to improve customer profitability and operational performance for the Fisher Healthcare business unit. Before obtaining his MBA from The University of Texas at Austin, Mr. Norris worked at Comdisco Ventures as a portfolio manager focusing on financial workouts and restructurings for distressed and bankrupt private companies. Prior to his tenure at Comdisco Ventures, he joined OffRoad Capital, an investment bank focusing on private capital raising activities utilizing the Internet as a distribution medium. As an associate in the Private Capital Group, Mr. Norris successfully managed 7 transactions raising $45 million in capital for private technology companies from a network of accredited investors. Before working at OffRoad Capital, Mr. Norris was as an investment banking analyst for Banc of America Securities developing capital financing strategies for middle market companies.

Reginald Norris
Mr. Norris has spent the majority of his career as a corporate securities attorney.  Recently, he was an associate at the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati representing numerous public and private growth companies, primarily in the life sciences and ecommerce industries. While at WSGR, Mr. Norris handled a wide variety of complex commercial transactions for clients, including public offerings of equity and debt securities; mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; licensing transactions; venture capital financings; equipment leasing transactions; and the formation of partnerships, strategic alliances, and joint ventures. 

Prior to working at WSGR, Mr. Norris served as a staff attorney in the Corporate Finance Division of the Securities & Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. focusing on legal and accounting disclosure issues concerning novel financing and business structures in public offerings, proxy contests, tender offers, and mergers and acquisitions.  Currently, Mr. Norris is working for a non-profit organization focusing on creating sustainable economic enterprises in under-developed areas of Africa.  Mr. Norris is a graduate of Stanford University and holds a J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of Law and an L.L.M. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
